The 2nd annual Kansas Governor's Conference on Mentoring was held June 11 - 12, 2008 in Wichita. Kansas Mentors, a statewide mentoring initiative led by Governor Kathleen Sebelius and Coach Bill Snyder, and Visioneering Mentoring Alliance hosted the conference. One of the noteable features of the conference was a panel discussion between former football rivals Coaches Snyder and Tom Osborne. Other featured speakers included Lt. Governor Mark Parkinson, international mentoring expert Danny Holland, and Spirit AeroSystems Community Relations Manager Brian Black.
