A group of 40 business owners and leaders, neighborhood and community leaders, educators, service providers and city and county officials from south-central Kansas are working together to make sure the entrepreneurs and small business owners of this and future generations have every opportunity to fulfill their dreams.

The Entrepreneurs and Small Business Strategic Alliance is part of Visioneering Wichita's Economic Development Foundation. The Foundation's vision is that before 2024 the Wichita area will be a leading community for retaining and expanding current businesses and creating and recruiting new businesses.

AMONG THE ALLIANCE'S PRIORITIES ARE:

	Supporting an information clearinghouse accessible by entrepreneurs
	Facilitating education and training opportunities for entrepreneurs
	Facilitating technical assistance and mentoring for entrepreneurs
	Increasing the availability of venture capital and other financing to entrepreneurs
	Supporting entrepreneurs through government with a positive business creation environment
	Improving Wichita area environment for entrepreneurs

The Alliance will work toward benchmarks that indicate a positive business environment, access to capital and a supportive network of information that recruits and retains businesses in south-central Kansas.
